Evil Cheerleaders

In order to promote a new game-style of cricket called twenty20 (I guess it shortens the match...but don't really know) they decided to bring in cheerleaders...from the NFL...the Washington Redskins. During the first televised match, 70% of the coverage was not on the game, but the cheerleaders dancing after every 4 and 6 (methods of scoring), during short breaks, long breaks, etc. Complaints were few and far between. Until now. The "scantly clad" women are obscene and ridicule the culture "that worships womanhood". Apparently worshiping is telling women what to, and not to, do. In a state that has banned dancing, these evil, scantly clad women find no haven. The government is starting to get involved and promises swift "action" against these evil-doers.

That's all for now....keep tuned in

Hahahaha Jason!! i actually think its brilliant! I think that Vijay Mallaya is BRILLIANT! look at the branding and marketing he's doing (i dont know if you are aware, but liquor is not allowed to be directly advertised over here and so these guys are forever trying to think of other ways to do branding and advertisement), and in all honesty, cheerleaders are simply delicious for marketing, dont u think? :P

And to add to that, he's taken possibly the most boring inane game *imho* and made it "cool" (for the lack of a better word!). I mean i was tempted the other day to tag along with my friends and see what all the noise was about - but dont worry - i did come to my senses when the word cricket jumped out at me again! :D

And pssshhttt..... cheerleaders..... you havent seen nothing yet! Find someone from DNA Networks (the organizers) and get one of em to tell you what they have in store :D
