So, it's the end of week one and what a week it was. Busy busy busy. I was thrown straight into the office fire, put right to work on some projects, including re-working a workshop power-point and editing the company's commercial literature. It's been tough getting to know a new city, country, society, culture, office, people, transportation, economy.....just a bit tough.
But it's getting better. I hope to have my own place by the end of next week, but would really hate to leave Detgen's place (oh, and her of course). But the autos (auto-rickshaws) are just a hassle as she lives about 2 miles from my work.
I wish I would have brought my pellet gun; they have these tiny squirrels here that make the most annoying sound. Imagine a squeaky dog toy, turn it up to 180 decibels, and squeak the crap out of it constantly. These things need some led education.
