A co-worker and I went to a place called Take 5, a small jazz restaurant that serves steak! As we walked in I noticed how Western it was (not the movie genre). Only things that looked Indian were the people. Nice jazz playing, a good selection of Belgian beers (thank god!), leather seats and flat screen TVs. It was good until the jazz turned into techno and 80s rock. And the steak had some sort of "tomato sauce" on it. It wasn't bad, but sh*t you don't put tomato stuff on steak! Jeez.
Anyway, that's Indian jazz, I guess.
Other news: we're getting close to securing an apartment, 2 BD, 2Bath, balconies, furnished, close to work and small shops, quiet--except for the Mosque behind us...we'll see how loud it gets.
