Holy crap, I forgot the time. Month 7 is done. Things got a bit better. The monsoon has let up for now, and the weather is very nice. Dogs still fight in the streets at night, horns still blare for no apparent reason, and Christians are being attacked by Hindus. What's new?
We had a nice public dialogue last night at our Bengaluru Speaks on the topic of public violence. The format (Socrates Cafe) was not the best way to do this...too soap-box-y. Still it was good.
The other night I walked on grass!! Yes, the green stuff on the dirt. On thursdays I play poker with a group, mostly expats (I lose quite often). The host this time has a rooftop terrace, with a lawn! Oh, it was soooo nice! I walked back and forth on it, touched it with my hand, and was laughed at by most (what's new?). I didn't realize how much it wasn't around. Very soft. I hope we have it there again.
Watching the US political stuff (or, reading about it). Sounds like Palin is bleeping moron. Her foreign policy is being next to Russia? What about Canada? Helloooo....
