So, as I was making my initial plans for Calcutta I received an unexpected and very welcomed message via facebook. It was from a friend from high school. As some of you know, I hated high school and most of the people there (mere peasants!! You bore me, begone), but she's a real good peep.
Anyway, she and her new family are in Lilongwe, Malawi (that's in Africa) working for the State Dept. We've already discussed travel invites between Bang and Lilon, so hopefully I'll head that way in the near future. How cool is that?
(Malawi is south of Uganda and Tanzania, next to Mozambique...if that helps)
